The loans from Fife are fine. I've run across his investments many times, and, for a cash flow negative company, the terms are okay. For NW it is cheaper financing than alternatives.

I think some people are wondering if Fife entered an NDA prior to making the loan and if, therefore, we can draw any broader conclusions. While I haven't asked NW that question, I know what I'd do If I were making a loan that size to a company with no other assets other than IP.
