I think about this frequently- even refer to NWBO to my wife as my Oak Island stock. The show is ridiculous but admittedly a guilty pleasure of mine.

For those who haven't watched the show, they have spent millions searching the Island and have found very little of value and yet keep at it year after year, and there is a guy who narrates who is hilarious. One of the Oak Island guys will say something like "that looks like a really old nail" and the narrator will come on and say "An old nail? Could it be from the 16th century Spanish galleon that is submerged off the coast of the island, which could be tied to the spoils rumored to have been taken by the Knights Templar, possibly gold or rare and priceless artifacts like the Arc of the Covenant?" And the they test it and it's just a 20th century nail.

"Look, a photo of an NWBO tote bag from SNO."
Narrator: "A tote bag from SNO? With a label that says DcVax-L? With a trademark symbol? That some experts believe proves the drug will be approved within 6 months? Could this be Les's secret way of communicating to shareholders during the quiet period, and what other clues might be out there?"

And then they test it and it's just a tote bag.
