US needs for now? Seriously there are 250m ICE vehicles and maybe 3m EVs. Theres a long ways to go especially since battery capacity drops significantly if you're towing. I believe Rivian is showing 60% drop. Imagine towing in the winter which has the potential to drop capacity 40%. Theres nothing about EVs that make sense. Outside of reducing CO2. You can solve that problem by reducing your driving.
