STXG is a market maker. You can read all about what market makers due generally on any reputable financial/educational site. "all" market makers do not make markets in all stocks, and the various MMs have different business models/clients. Most work to make markets for retail traders, but there are several that make markets for lenders who have converted shares to sell. STXG does not work with retail. Ipso facto, so long as we see STXG at the top of the ask stack, we pretty much know it's a note holder selling. It's also why you will rarely see them at the top of the Bid Stack - they/their clients are sellers only, no buyers.
