I'm sorry people, but Barge is 100% correct!! After reading the EU Opinion that Awk posted and a private conversation with WhiteWash, to demote this company to a Utility services company is ridiculous. Embassy OS should be and hopefully will be the Gatekeeper to the Internet because of Interoperability. The question is, and please reference Awk's article, who is going to allow Microsoft's OS to control all of this with so many anti-trust lawsuits and offenses? Nobody in their right mind is going to allow Microsoft to control attestation between trusted platforms. A 3rd party has to control this and therefore validates the stealth of Wave. I think the brilliant tech-minds on this board get lost in the technology and fail to see this from a business standpoint. Microsoft does not want to be the gatekeeper of the Internet. It would scare every company right out of trusted computing and there is plenty of money to be made with Windows 2006(Longhorn) without having to be the gatekeeper to the Internet. Microsoft, Intel and the other gorillas need a stealth company like Wave to do this so that everyone feels comfortable buying TPMs now so that when Windows is released they must have it. This is why you see no-revenues Wave appearing everywhere with the Gorillas, not because their going to be providing attestation, IT'S BECAUSE THEY WILL BE THE DE FACTO PLATFORM FOR TRUSTED WEB SERVICES! (Your welcome Barge). I'm telling you that the Gorillas already know this and it's why their putting this basic software on their motherboards and appearing places with Wave, so that enterprises become familiar with Wave and when the time comes feel comfortable with Wave being the 3rd party Gatekeeper to trusted web services.

This concept should not be so difficult to believe in considering that from a business standpoint the Gorillas want Wave to be this company so that can get their massive share of the money to be made by every enterprise changing their infrastucture to a Trusted network that can talk to other trusted networks. There is no other idea or paradigm out there right now that stands to create more revenues for these companies than Trusted Web Services. And since no one wants one of these gorillas to be the company controlling the Interoperability space, why not have Wave do that. From a business standpoint it makes sense and is why Barge's vision should be the introduction. To get lost in Attestation when it is Attestation that leads to Interoperability which is what will make TC ubiquitous, right now Wave is the only company posed to be the Gatekeeper. So why not put this in the opening statement until, as most think will happen, another company comes into the mix and claims to be the Gatekeeper. All I know is that the big players want a company like Wave to do this from a business standpoint.
