A more modern equivalent of Tantalus's punishment is Lucy pulling the football every time Charlie Brown tried to kick it.

The most modern equivalent, is what you are doing here. Every time you pose your skepticism, I respond with facts, law, and citation of authority. You respond by moving the goal posts. Most respectfully, such an unproductive dialogue cannot be countenanced.

You are falling into that trap that many lawyers, clients, and even judges fall into, namely overthinking and overanalyzing to the point of self-sabotage. More often than not, the correct answer is the simple, straight forward answer.

The cases set forth certain legal elements to establish inadequacy of representation. We factually meet all of those elements, where as a matter of law, the burden is minimal. No filibustering, or Zen-style overthinking will alter that reality.
