My neighbor’s said his kid is thrilled to just read the the smoke blowing ABQQ posts against the company. I said like what?

He said his kid read a joke about shorting the company stock. He then said his kid told him shorting is mainly for blue chip stocks not penny stocks because to short a stock one should pay $2.5 dollar for every share that wants to be shorted. So, to short a penny stock of say a minimum 1 million share one should pay 2.5 million dollars to short it to just make a few thousand dollars!
