Anyone know the "Design In" count?

The short answer is "zero".

Nor has any major semiconductor manufacturer shown photonics (of any kind, from any source) in their long range process roadmaps.

If (not when, but if) photonics ever does appear on such roadmaps, it will be far into the future and will likely be a product of the semiconductor manufacturers' own R&D efforts where they can tightly couple design and manufacture.
