That could well be the most preposterous premise put forward yet. If you don't have facts, just post some hogwash theory. Keeping your ear to the ground is somewhat problematic in that it allows creepy crawly things such as slugs, botflys, earwigs, ticks and fleas to enter the ear canal and make their way to what little gray matter is available.
