Socialism and/or Communism is the save all for the world

Maybe Fascism, Totalitarianism (Trumpism) and/or Communism is more agreeable to you, definitely a better comparative and dot connecting. Socialism is already a part of and/or coexists with Capitalism and will always be. One without the other is a misnomer, the debate is in how much of each one controls (even if the discussion should be in how it should work together). The word is used purposely for misinformation and to blame the lower class for the problems of the middle class bestowed by some in the elite. Misdirection, lies, and manipulation of the meaning of Socialism are one of the tools of "greed and power mongering" with political power a big part of it.

Your reasons of comparing are not any part of solutions to the abuses of Capitalism and it doesn't give a big OK or pass to "greed and power mongering". If there is something wrong with your car, the solution isn't pointing a finger to your neighbor's car that has more problems than yours and trade yours for theirs, you address your own situation, you fix the part that's broken, at worst you replace with something better not worse, yours get fixed and your neighbor might get it bettering his situation.

Of course it's just deflection from the problems not wanted to be dealt with or admitted. An "easy out" so to speak, easier and more convenient to back the status quo. More comfortable, back the selfishness and greed parts of our humanity, defend and put it up on a pedestal. Such is life of the three monkeys.

Comparing people that are oppressed, have almost nothing and in survival mode with the people that have almost everything, the people that abuse and excuse that abuse, ones that dangle the field of carrots encouraging those who have almost nothing, and the "greed and power mongering" problem is a worthless argument. It's only akin to tactics of right wing supremist, and such leaders as Hitler, Mussolini, Trump to name a few. A tactic that one uses to attempt to put attention on a jaywalker instead of the drunk driving and alcoholism of another.
