Freakout in the futures

I’m guessing it’s tied to the new reported covid variant.

I don’t know how reliable the information at this GitHub link is but

“Also the extremely long branch length and incredibly high amount of spike mutations suggest this could be of real concern (predicted escape from most known monoclonal antibodies)”

I’m assuming that might mean it would evade existing immunity. I hope that’s the wrong interpretation as it would be really bad.
