Right, that old saying the market always knows, can't apply anymore, now the market gets it wrong a lot of the time, because the market is all AI trading, that reacts on trigger news, words, events etc. There could be a retail company, that missed heavily on their quarterly report, but only because management screwed up, yet AI will attack all retailers on that. When it was people traders affecting the markets only, just that one company stock would crash, the others left alone.

Sure there's a little sympathy, but AI is relentless on the whole sector.
