Back 20 years ago, there was no HFT or algos to mess with us, when markets went down it was because people actually dumped! Today the markets will get dumped on by machines and High frequency trading, independent of what the retail trader does. It's not a true reflection of retail traders sentiment in the stock markets anymore.
