FFS a Question for You Concerning Shorting

Do you think the Baker Brothers used their large position in AMRN

to move the stock price up & down using covered calls and puts?

I'm certainly no expert in calls & puts

but I think one has to own the underlying stock

in order to do covered calls and puts?

I've never done calls and puts on AMRN

but I have seen plenty of posters frustrated over the years about how

the stock price magically closed slightly too high or low

for them to make money on their calls and puts.
