My guess would be we would most likely see the stock market tank before interest rates get high enough to seriously damage the bond market. IMO that's why we won't see rates move very high, they really can't if the Banksters don't want that to happen. If inflation remains high that's going to force a higher move in rates and that's not the outcome they want to see.

This was going on back in the day. Maybe it will happen again?

The trucking article I posted refers to long-haul trucking when it was speaking to the 6.5 hrs being driven, not short runs. It made no sense to me if a driver is able to run 11 hrs before stopping why they would only be averaging 6.5 in a workday? Being a truck driver is not something everyone can do or wants to do for that matter, but they are a critical part of the transportation system. Having this supply chain disruption just highlights how important they are.
