Right! Eli Lilly Apparently Got Bamboozled By CureVac And Bailed!

...and the result of that is they almost LOST $1.8 Billion fooling around with CureVac when they enter into collaborative arrangements with them on an mRNA Vaccine that NEVER came to fruition!

Here's what I found:

Eli Lilly Terminated its 2017 Agreement with CureVac

In Oct. 2017, CureVac granted Eli Lilly rights to develop and commercialize its five (5) mRNA cancer vaccines using CureVac’s RNActive technology for up to five (5) cancer vaccines that targeted neo-antigens across multiple tumor types.

Lilly was responsible for target identification, clinical development, and commercialization. CureVac was responsible for mRNA design, formulation, and manufacturing of clinical supplies. CureVac had the option to co-promote vaccines in Germany.

CureVac received $50M up front "earnest payment" from Lilly AND an additional equity investment of $51M BOTH non-refundable to consummate their deal. Subsequently, CureVac would be eligible to receive more than $1.7B from Lilly in development and sales milestones if all five (5) mRNA Vaccines are successfully developed.

Well apparently that didn't happen and Lilly BAILED losing $101 Million! Pretty expensive "date" wasn't it! LOL!

In June 2020, Eli Lilly terminated their Agreement with CureVac.

No doubt Lilly is still reeling from that disaster with Curevac where they blew $101 Million "get in" CASH that went up in smoke, and are now traveling at Bum Rush speed in an attempt to "GET BACK IN THE mRNA Cancer Vaccine GAME" and the only way they're going to do that is by ACQUIRING RGBP which they should of done from the GET GO back in 2017!

NOW Lilly clearly sees after the CureVac Fiasco they should of NEVER left their "first love" who they had collaborative arrangements with on RGBP's NR2F6 Billion Dollar Patent for treating cancer by mRNA Vaccine which since then RGBP licensed to Oncology Pharma pending initiation of clinical trials, only RGBP isn't into "dating" anymore, MARRIAGE MINDED ONLY, and like any dedicated "husband to be" Lilly gets to foot the Bill! LOL!

Remember Koos Filed an 8K on 4/27/21 where he clearly identified his Intention of an Acquisition! aka: "Marriage"
