I have no opinion or knowledge about how this could all wrap up (if indeed it ever happens at all). I simply dont know and have not scoured the legal documents.

I KNOW that WMI had assets outside of WMB. But i dont know if the legal entities where those assets existed were inside or outside of the bankruptcy. If they were outside, then I agree that they could become "recognized" by the emerged new company. But I have zero idea of "we" would benefit directly from that event. Obviously, some people do believe in that.

My angle has always been the inclusion of Robert Williams as President and Doreen Logan as the key people that were retained for bankruptcy proceedings. These 2 were the foremost knowledgeable people about how WMI used various legal entities to manage off-balance sheet assets.
