Feelings and Evidence.

Three shots on goal, if all three score, AVXL upside price is in the stratosphere! Me, liking our chances of 3 shots, 3 goals! Just got that feelin'

Thanks; but for me, it’s more than a feeling. I’m a small-time equity investor, don’t have thousands of excess dollars to throw at stocks that I “feel” might pay off. I made my first small AVXL purchase some time before 2015; have been adding ever since, when personal discretionary funds become available. For my several thousands of shares, because I started early, my average cost basis is $0.47. Today, I’ve had a 747% value gain.

But I’m not “hoping” or “feeling.” I’ve made my AVXL buys based on the detailed Anavex (blarcamesine) biochemistry that I’ve scrutinized (and understand). Not a single incident of any negative clinical results, either in murines (lab rodents), or in the hundreds of humans taking blarcamesine in any of the early-stage clinical trials. The drug’s unique mechanisms of action (MOAs) are now understood and confirmed. The three human clinical trials, Rett syndrome, Parkinson’s disease dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease — the three shots on goal — will yield very positive, statistically significance outcomes, from which the FDA (or, the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration) will use to approve the drug for sale and therapeutic uses.

There are no feelings involved. Only solid, accurate biochemical results. Solid evidence, however, is yet incomplete for the regulators. That will all change next year. The only feeling on my part is the impatience, waiting for the clinical results to appear.
