I am a novice when it comes to technicals (and to some degree understanding the trading tape, bid, and ask), but since I have recently purchased some on the bid at .01 (took 3 days to fill) and also on the ask at .012, I have had a chance to see for myself how tight is. I have noticed the bid and ask have been at 4 digit numbers for much of the time. Am I correct if I said that it appears as if market makers are holding this in position? For example, in order for me to slap the ask, I have to put .012 because I can't put the 4 digit order in such as .0115

I was trying to grab some .009s, but I am also happy averaged up with .01. I don't know why anyone would let some go at .009.
