I was speaking of events related to drilling; not assets, accounting, directors, etc. There may be examples somewhere, but I'm not familiar with an oil exploration company posting 8Ks that provide intermediate results for a well being drilled.

And its not always obvious at first if a well is commercial or not. So, the date when an 8k (or 10Q) is filled stating the final verdict on a well can be substantially further out in time than when TD is reached.

For previous wells, sometimes Zion did file an 8k with a reference to a PR that provided intermediate results. But, I don't believe that is required and is not practiced by other companies. If I missed something, then please provide examples of an oil company other than Zion filing 8ks giving drilling status other than final verdict; I'm open to learning something new.
