It's my belief that no official guidance ever came from the company that formally said a Journal publication would come first. I believe that we've been guided in that way, probably primarily by DI, but I don't believe LP could be said to have lied if a conference presentation preceded a Journal.

Journal rules do permit technical presentations prior to publication, whereas conference want presentations of material that hasn't been previously been presented. There is no reason a presentation can't be made at SNO if a Journal is scheduled it after it, but if it's published prior, the presentation ought to cover something not covered in the publication. Dr. Liau, and virtually all others in a position to make an Abstract submission are well aware of these rules, they wouldn't violate them as they'd never be trusted again if they did. The publication could come virtually just after a presentation, just not before it.

I don't believe that NWBO's guidance would be violated should this occur, their priority was for a Journal, but a presentation just prior is acceptable to all, the opposite would not be the case.

It's now well over a year since the trial ended, that's roughly the average time needed for Journal publication. TLD and presentations generally come within months of the trial ending, and some posters have shown where at least the TLD statement ought to happen within a year of the trial data being available to the company. While it's possible that a year has been exceeded, I don't believe anyone is certain of the exact date the company received the data. We do know that in 2021 Dr. Liau submitted a placeholder Abstract for SNO, but cancelled prior to the conference. Dr. Liau clearly knew much that wasn't yet public, but had not yet had access to the full unblinded data from the contractors tasked to assemble it.

I don't believe that a presentation at SNO is certain, but I certainly believe it's possible. We should know for certain in just over 2 weeks at the most, and perhaps any day in the time between now, and then. I believe we'll see TLD and an update to Clinical Trials prior to either Journal or conference presentation, it may only be by hours, but they should be revealed prior as the basis for judging the trial should be clear in Clinical Trials.
