In my opinion the chosen journal was given a strongly suggested timeline and they agreed a priori based on the importance of the article itself and understanding that NWBO has been a company under attack creating a significant need for this kind of cooperation without asking for any special consideration for other than normal time for review. We have 13 months now and that is “normal”. I also believe NWBO reminded the journal of Dr. Linda Liau’s strong connection to SNO and that they, NWBO, could go either way with this if they did not receive an agreement to this timeline because they, NWBO, had every intention to help get Dr. Linda Liau the attention focused on her at SNO this year. Too many investors and “non investors” have underestimated the influence of Linda Powers, Les Goldman, Dr. Ashkan and Dr. Linda Liau. Way underestimated them. In my opinion, the hush hush and changes about late breaking abstracts at SNO is in deference to the journal to be able to publish first which then allows for a “surprise” at SNO. Best wishes.
