My dad had ALS for 5 years, ugh it was awful, my dad loved life and was so full of charisma, etc. He went through the process of losing all mobility like a champ! I played golf with him in the first few years, when he could barley move his right arm and would wrap his right non moving fingers around his club (who says you need to play w/2 arms), and he still beat me, although he had moved up the ladies tees! :)
