Good day for me with the horses so far.
Up ~9% on QTUM today before switching to DOT.
Now up ~5% on DOT and DOT is not slowing down yet!
...and I really like the low fees on Kucoin to switch compared to Coinbase.
I am contemplating moving more funds from Coinbase to Kucoin this week.
The only 'catch' I have found with Kucoin is the need to look up ahead of time what coins can be sold into what other coins. For instance, this morning I sold QTUM into USDT, and only when attempting to sell USDT into DOT did I learn that this was not possible. Only BTC into DOT was available, so I had to move out of USDT back into QTUM, then QTUM into BTC, then BTC into DOT.
Stupid mistake on my part, but I am learning.
However, all this 'converting' back and forth inside of Kucoin cost me less than $100. Each one of these conversions inside of Coinbase would have cost me ~$200 - $250. This morning would have been a ~$1000 mistake for me, rather than a ~$100 mistake.
