These PRs about GSK last week and today is no more than a shorts play to shake the tree. It’s probably beyond their means to enter the bidding war for Auph so they will just try to squeeze whatever is left to squeeze from Benlysta. They are aware that the BP buyer has the capacity to explore a trial of Voclosporin for SLE indication. Benlysta is prescribed for SLE & LN but their patent is expiring in 2023. It is in their best interest to acquire Voclosporin but anti-trust violation could be a hindrance too …jmho.
