centrix, thank you for responding. Ameritrade-my broker. I shall try your advice. BTW, I do remember attempting to solve this problem about this time last year- the broker couldn't tell me the ticker symbol. And I was unable
to trace because was company that, over the years, had changed symbol or gone out of business thus I could not determine my cost for that cusip holding. Finally, one can get better information, as I see to recall, by paying a cusip search business. I really appreciate you all who take your time to help Ihubbers.
