US brokerages don’t allow dark / defunct / no information stocks to be traded since September 28, 2021 when new amendments to Rule 15c-211 went into effect. The final SEC rule is to enhance investor protection and improve issuer transparency. The securities regulator (SEC) is trying to stamp out fraud.
