I've always been a gambler but never "bet over my head". About 5 years ago in Vegas I stopped in the high roller slot room on the way to men's room. Put $20 bucks in a slot machine which was good for 1 spin.

Hit for $5,000. Handed my wife, buddy, & his girlfriend each a crisp $100 bill. (Who's bigger than me?) Blew about another $1k & made sure I left town with $4k winnings.

I've spent about $100 per month for the past decade on lottery tickets. Only the biggies, Powerball, Mega Millions, etc. Never won more in a month than I gambled. So yeah, I've donated about $10k to the State of SC.

So if walking my dog tonight I find $10k cash, would it change my life? Not at all. But if I win $100, $200, $300 million it will change lots of life's!

BTW, if anyone has ever bought a "TSX" or "OTC" stock, they are a GAMBLER.
