The ship date was allegedly Aug. 19th.

However, remember the status was "boxed and ready" which seemed a little dubious considering how direct all other tweets had been regarding status of ELD.

So speculating here, but given that they received the final ELD revs 2 days before (Aug 17th), I suspect they weren't quite ready for shipping it. And there was NO pomp and circumstance in the "YAY WE HAVE SHIPPED" which leads me to suspect they weren't quite ready.

Thus, they probably used the rest of the weekend and did not 'actually' ship until the following week. Add a few days for shipping and arrival and assume it was officially in the ELD testing Co.'s hands at or near End of Aug / 1st Sept.
