Here is the scoop.
Vicarious website has a presentation that says they have 30+ patents issued and pending ( with an interesting footnote - :includes Provisional applications )
What is a Provisional application ?( they expire in 12 months if not converted to a regular application) Provisional application s are useful to preserve the Date of the filing but are often only ideas. They are not formal patent applications.
It seems to me providing a image that shows 30+patents is not quite accurate. Ok- they covered themselves with a nifty footnote. They do not have 30 patents nor 30 patents pending.
