No. Big loophole congress made decades ago. All kinds of crap is marketed as "cures" and "beneficial" and other bogus claims.

"... do over the counter "supplements" have to go through clinical trials?..."

"It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled."

For those that don't get it, it means that people need to be more careful, and do good due diligence...
