Excellent, thanks for digging that up.

They appear to be saying the ACE2 mimic ligand is really a broader serine protease mimic ligand, so targets both ACE2 and APN entry CoVs. TMPRSS2 is another serine protease that assists in CoV entry .. by MERS SARS1 and SARS2.

I wonder what ever happened to TMPRSS2 inhibitor antivirals.

Great to see an explanation on why nv-cov-2 should be broad spectrum against many different CoVs.

Now will we ever find out in a trial?
