ggw...I intended to refer to the high triglyceride patents...During the Anchor Adcom, the FDA demanded that Amarin complete the R-IT study before they would approve Vascepa for CVD...It is interesting that Hickma is now selling generic Vascepa mainly for the CVD indication...without ever having to go through a study to see if gV really works for CVD.(i.e. without the patented Amarin capsule, which prevents oxidization of the EPA and thereby preserves the potency of branded Vascepa in reducing the incidence of CVD}.
