TSMC of Taiwan is building a fabrication plant or a “fab” across 22 football field of land in southern Taiwan to produce groundbreaking 3-nm chips, expected to be up to 15 % faster and use far less power.

This generation of chip manufacture, or “node” will leave US firms like Intel and GlobalFoundries at least two generations behind.

But I am not worried, LWLG polymers ease of manufacturing would help GlobalFoundries any other foundries make up their shortcomings if any.

I understand TSMC has 90% market on high ends chips currently.
