Eventually, Anavex in all EMS vehicles?

I don't think we would see a stroke study any time soon...

Running a mouse study, to confirm efficacy of either of the Anavex drugs, would cost just a few tens of thousands of dollars, could be done in weeks.

After that, with significant clinical outcomes, human trials, funded and run by others, would naturally fall into place.

Strokes are extremely debilitating; with few good therapeutic options. If strokes could be controlled, their debilitating outcomes suppressed or reversed by prompt injection of blarcamesine or Anavex 3-71, there is the prospect that such injections would be given by EMS personnel in ambulances, for people exhibiting stroke symptoms.

Of course, the Anavex sigma-1 receptor agonists are significantly safe; no side effects of any consequence.

Let's see. In a few years, will every EMS vehicle and crew have and use either blarcamesine or Anavex 3-71? Now, with this early mouse study, very plausible.

Note. There is no "waiting for enough strokes to happen." Strokes are seen, often in multiple numbers, at major hospital emergency rooms each day. Strokes are probably the most frequent acute CNS events in hospitals. Lots of them, every day.
