EnergySource Minerals is also a likely target for a merger. They are a privately held company and have a direct lithium extraction technology for their Project ATLiS in the Salton Sea region. They are producing energy from the geothermal brines and now have a commercially ready plant for the production of Lithium.

GM never said it was Lilac directly though he hinted it was by referring to their technology in the language from their website and even tweeting with their web url. Lilac is not in the Salton Sea directly as a base of operations but in Oakland. We know CTR is a privately held company located in the region and is using Lilac's technology and they could be the target for the merger.

GM is dealing with some company in the Salton Sea region. Whether using Lilac's technology or their own. Which one is the mystery.

In the web conference last week of CEO Dave Syndacker of Lilac and Lake Resources of Australia, he dodged the question about going public with the company. If Lilac is in negotiations with GM then he can't talk about it. If he isn't, then either he's not ready now to go forward as yet or RM with a shell isn't in the works as the path he wants to take.

In any case, we are going to have a lithium company owning this shell and then the rest will be history after the middle of the month. We'll all be millioniares and partying for the rest of our lives. Right? Well, maybe not all of us.
