Madbager.....you are magnificent!!!!....you answered the question of who gets the returning assets when WMI cancelled the stock, and THEY became the beneficiaries of the estate!!!!!......the question now is..... is there a link from them to the old estate holders by cancelling the shares?....are we beneficiaries behind the reorganized WMI?....what mechanism forces Wmih to release these assets to us?....are we named as second beneficiaries in case of WMIh going bankrupt?.....there simply is no literature that spells out that line of succession.....I mean it is only logical that WMI would make themselves beneficiary successors to the estate, and not the shareholders... why? the company would languish without this capital if they gave it to passive estate holders....think about it... if you got the money, you would save or spend it, while the company went broke....not gonna happen...WMI worked over 100 years amassing that money, and they are not about to give it away to passive mom and pop investors who bought those instruments for pennies on the dollar in bankruptcy...same agument on the board about sharing in any returns with Nationstar holders who never lost money in the Wamu fiasco.... do you want to share any returns with them if you get any?..... I didn't think so... but in all, a very good post and observation by you.... thanks... Lodas
