You're so right !!! It's remarkable that more posters aren't highlighting probably the most important news in the last several years!!! All the chatter about Sawston. TLD ..... without the kind of patent just granted is worthless. I'm postimg the highlights of a chat I had with a very close friend who was the Director of Central Research for one of the world's largest pharma companies for 37 years. His executive team grew that company from a few hundred million to over 250 billion !!!! This is his comment after reviewing the recent patent granted to Northwest -

His comment was simply that the patent is astonishing with the width and breadth of the coverage granted making infringement virtually impossible !!! Further that all existing clinical trials for similar biologic technology/discoveries are now behind the curve.He didn’t say that it guarantees FDA approval but that it advances a very good case for approval!!! Also, that the application was filed in 2016 and Northwest should receive an additional 5 years of patent life extending the patent to 2046!!! Sounds pretty good to me.

So there you have it!!!
