The fabrics they got as “samples” are going to be cut fitted manipulated and likely abused until they find the right designs they want to use them in, I imagine using the dragon silk composite would be a foolhardy move considering the cost it takes to make it, which despite being “comparable” would likely still be a nonsense move to use up the premium product on something you can toss standard product to handle.

Better to design and work with the basic material before going balls to the walls with the composite blend...
