The Direct and L manufacturing terms are in the same Manufacturing Services Agreement with Cognate, plus the agreement does not expire until certain conditions happen that have not happened yet, with relation, as I recall, to being able to negotiate commercial manufacturing terms. Just because the DCVax-L trial was completed and they finished the manufacturing for that trial, that does not make their business over.

As for Cognate being bought by CRL, CRL is the successor and assigned party generally with regard to such contracts unless one or both parties intentionally terminate. There would be no reason to intentionally terminate at this time and it would be in neither party’s interest, because of the merger, to terminate at this time.
