If Advent were to leave and take their people elsewhere, could they take the Sawston certification elsewhere? No.

No in that case the certificate would be void for the MHRA certifies the Sawston facility which if you had done the same research is based on the facility AND the staff working there. I suggest you research the MHRA website a bit better.

Organisations that may have to comply with good manufacturing practice

(GMP) and/or good distribution practice (GDP) include:

manufacturer licence holders
wholesale dealer licence holders
blood establishment authorisation holders
non-UK sites employed by UK MA holders
MHRA carries out inspections to check if manufacturing and distribution sites comply with GMP or GDP. You will be inspected when you apply for a manufacturer or wholesaler dealer licence and then periodically based on risk assessments. Overseas manufacturing sites are also inspected.

If an organisation manufactures or distributes both human and veterinary medicines, MHRA may carry out an inspection of both areas on behalf of the Veterinary Medicines Directorate.

The MHRA is very clear here and can only reward an ORGANIZATION and not a property with a certificate.

I would have not expected you to twist my words so I presume you misunderstood me but I have never said that the certificate will stay with Advent if they were to move out of the building, in that case as I said the certificate would just be no longer valid for its the Staff AND the facility as the condition the MHRA provides the certificate under to NA ORGANIZATION that's Advent.

Like I have said here 100x times before if Sawston is in possession of 5000 certificates for 5000 facilities/properties, then facility nr 5001 needs to be certified as well.

Now its my turn to give you examples and Im pretty sure you have will trouble to answer. What happens if Northwest would sell the Swanston facility to Barclays bank? Would Barclays bank now become a CDMO? Nope.
If I own the equipment and building for a bakery does that mean I'm a baker now? Nope? In your theory that would mean that Swaston can never become a CDMO because they need to own the property and equipment and are not able to rent the facility and lease the equipment....
Just because you own a plane doesnt make you a pilot.

What you fail to understand is that its the facility that gets certified under the condition of staff. That certification is OWNED and IN NAME of Sawston NOT NWBO. NWBO could have chosen to request that certificate but they did not for the simple reason that they do not have the staff to run Sawston, Advent does.

And finally, have you thought about what happens to Advent’s staff as Northwest transitions to the Flaskworks equipment?

NWBO bought Flaskworks equipment to what it seems now supports Advent not vice versa. The point is who Senti WHO has the LICENSE, who OWNS the license to operate Sawston. NOT NWBO. If you claim that it is NWBO then I suggest you call the MHRA as BSB did and you ask them.

Its Advent that OWNS and is in POSSESSION of the MHRA certificate to run the Sawston facility. IF NWBO would sell the property to Barclays then that certificate will remain with Advent as long as they rent the property.
