Iwasadiver:About 4 weeks ago , my U.K. buddy said the Flaskworks device was being tested at Sawston.He is a M16 senior undercover officer.He was able to enter the Sawston facility with two other M16 associates, purporting to be a cleaning service.They were able to photograph the device.They asked about the production rate , but nobody seemed to know. That was actuallt fortunate. He's trained to kill his informants after he gets the needed information.

I think you’re missing some nuance of the manufacturing process here. FlaskWorks can scale quickly. One machine can do 10 times what it takes to do one vaccine under the current hand made system. When they finish Sawston certification they’ll be able to do 35-50 vaccines/month under the current system with only a small percentage of the available utilization. If that is easily scalable via FlaskWorks to 500 vaccines/month your concerns are now taken care of. And, if CRL is in talks with NWBO regarding licensing FlaskWorks in the US the contract manufacturing issue is completely solved.

They should be running equivalency trials of FlaskWorks as we speak, in fact I’m pretty certain they are. So, when Sawston is certified under the current system they probably won’t need much time to get certification of the FlaskWorks system afterward and before the 6 months or so they’ll need for MHRA approval.

I believe their PR that specified excess space means that space could be leased for other cellular manufacturing if there was a demand for it. NWBO is staying small because they’re basically a virtual company; holding the IP and owning the machines, the clean rooms, etc. All of the extra possibilities, including the land they own and for which they’re probably seeking a zoning variance for so they can develop residential/housing, is part of the revenue stream they anticipate with the vaccines marked for the Specials Program.
