On a positive…went to “Life is beautiful” last night with my vaccinated 13 year old. We had masks if needed. Literally flashed our vaccine cards…and saw Green Day and Ludicrous. Best pizza I’ve had since being back in NY. It was awesome. 4 city blocks barricaded in!!!! 60 or 70k people there.
The greenday performance is on you tube. The sound was fantastic. So refreshing to return to humanity. I encourage ya all…when able…to re-engage. For some reason they kept setting off huge explosive fireworks that sounded like a gunshotX10. After the first the whole crowd almost went to their knees. Cause it was just a sound firework/explosive…It was a little traumatizing after the harvest festival….but the rest of the show was amazing. $100 bucks to get home on Lyft though. Surge pricing.
And Billie joe was on point…not a mess like last time in vegas. Their bassist and drummer are amazing…and the number of songs that are big hits is shocking. It was one after another and some KISS!!!
