I think a lot of people fail to give Huff credit where credit is due. Now there are posters on this board accusing Huff of back door stock selling. When people resort to this type of slander, it has become pathetic.
I've said it before and I'll say it again; Huff is no crook. Huff never once made an off-color comment to me regarding shareholders being a nuisance. As I distinctly recall, he put his investors ahead of everyone. In fact, he was a downright pain in the gazazza while trying to establish completion dates with me for the Strat. And I very vividly recall him saying to me in a moment of utter frustration, "I have stockholders to answer to!"
I also state that I believe that Internafta was a complete fraud set up by the Russians to bilk some unsuspecting American company and GTE drew the short straw. I have no trust whatsoever in the Russians. Internafta are the real crooks. We should have nuked those guys back in the 60's.
No man should be considered totally useless....because he can always serve as a bad example.
