Organized religion. I realize it works for some but I certainly have my issues with it. My friend's mother and father both recently passed. They attended and gave to the same church for over 60 years. Her mother requested that 10% of the proceeds from the house sale be given to the church. $15k give or take. The family requested an ice cream social after the funeral. The church said we're not paying for that. Money grubbing hypocrites!
