Here we are, nearly four hours into the trading day and a measly 1.1 million shares have traded hands. Nobody selling. Nobody buying.

Is there anybody on this board that understands how shares trade and can explain why there was a dramatic slowdown in shares traded beginning a few months ago and what it could mean?

For the three years I've followed the stock closely, it seemed there would be 3 million to 4 million shares traded, at a minimum, every day. At around the time it was announced JT would be replaced, volume dropped and rarely rose again. It's as if the big players decided to hang on to their shares, but not to add to their positions. And the low volume seems to reflect a lot of small trades with share lots in the hundreds rather than thousands or tens of thousands.
