oknpv, Market Makers are not involved,

Most All the activity is comming from ECN's like
arca and NSDQ. ECN's do not make a Market.

Ecn's are mostly used by individuals through their On-Line
Broker to buy and sell stock. If you use Ameritrade you
would most likely go through NSDQ(used to be BRUT) or arca.

Someone through arca and NSDQ are either capping the ASK
or are unloading a bunch of shares. They did the same thing Friday at $2.40.

These are not people shorting on the ASK.
