How did he get someone to give him over $300,000?

Yup... Dont trust a word that comes out of his mouth!
Stiffed a big investor 300-400k.
They had a guy who was going to do multiple units in Panama...Screwed him over!
This company is thankfully dead and KJ cant sucker any more investors!!
