Vplm has engaged in a campaign of trying to bluff these companies into offering a settlement or purchase licenses. When vplm sent their "love letters" to these companies, they didn't tell them they were infringing, they suggested that they "might be infringing". They have no proof because it likely doesn't exist. Notice how as they are getting closer to an actual infringement trial & discovery & claim construction, that you would expect at least 1 or 2 companies, if they knew they stole the vplm patents & were infringing, that they would get scared enough to make a move, ie, a settlement or buy a license.....but that's not happening so it's vplm who is getting worried about getting too far into this trial business, where they may once & for all, be exposed as bullshitters & bluffers & soon after, it will all unravel.
