No problem. We live on about 10 acres in Northern Arizona & grow or raise all our own food. For power, we have installed two acres of solar panels, have two solar generators, and - just in case - we breed hamsters & have over 9,000. We have a running wheel for each one and what even I would call a huge supply of methamphetamines. We can make those little guys run for days on end...and keep me up to keep them bugged out. All the wheels are hooked to a storage battery from an old Prius. It's pretty elaborate.

As for internet, we have a satellite connection. We bought into a consortium of 1000 people where each person/family pays 1/1000th the cost of a satellite, so nobody is turning off our internet. We have 20 portable precharged external batteries, each able to charge a laptop twice. In addition, we have four solar-powered external batteries in case all the sources of power take a dump.

Lastly, we have one computer set up directly to hamster power. Nothing is happening to those hamsters unless it happens to us first.

That's what we got going on. What about you?

what will everyone do when the powers that be shut off the power/internet?
